WINE CLASSES
Ever thought about learning the difference
between ripasso and passito? Or, how you can
make white wine from red grapes?
OTTO VINO classes are held in the Enoteca
at our standing bar tables and run at about an hour and a half depending on the course schedule. Saturday's lecture-based courses are led by Wine Director Dan Amatuzzi and include active participation from the class. Sommelier Marcos Ruiz's and Olga Baiadina's Sunday courses are conducted in a more social setting, moving from table to table for more one-on-one discussion. Discover Italy! Wine Classes
include the basics of wine-making, an
introduction to Italian regions and producers, and
tasting of several Italian Wines. $45/person.
Region by Region! Wine Classes focus on a specific region or type of wine.
Meant for those who wish to explore the wines of
a particular region. $45/person.
Ultimate Wine Classes invite anyone who has ever wanted to indulge in the most prestigious and sought after Italian wines. These tastings are for anyone with a passion and a palate, from beginners to aficionados. $100/person.
All wine class fees subject to 8.375% NY state sales tax.

ULTIMATE TASTING: SUPER TUSCANS!
Tuscany is known for the classic red wines of Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino. There are, however, legendary wines produced from all corners of the region. Many of these wines are simply referred to as "Super-Tuscans", comprised of a seemingly enless combination of grapes. Join us for an afternoon as we taste some of the classics, the obscure, and the collectables and sip your way straight into the rolling hills of Tuscany!
